Iemand in Australië wil de rubbertjes van de vacuumbalgjes, die Volvo nooit los heeft aangeboden, laten maken. Niet van rubber, maar van materiaal dat langer meegaat. Dit meldt hij op Facebook:

William Liao schreef op Facebook: "Quick update on the 700/900 series climate control vacuum bellow, I’ve just advised the rubber manufacturer to commence production of the seals after carefully checking the samples they’ve provided. The seals are what typically fails on the 700/900 series causing vacuum leak & the classic no air from dash vents under acceleration symptom. Volvo never sold the seal alone, you had to order the entire vacuum bellow which is No Longer Available.
I’ve changed the seal’s material from rubber to high tear strength silicone, which not only makes it more durable / longer lasting but also a lot easier to install as it’s more stretchy & less friction on the surface. They are manufactured right here in Melbourne, Australia to support the local economy. You will need only 1 on all 740, 940 and early 760 up to 87 for floor/defrost vacuum bellow (9463042 / 3522945 for LHD), but on 760 from 88 as well as 960 and S/V90 you will need a 2nd one for air recirculation vacuum bellow (9463040 / 6848742 for LHD).
I’ve teamed up with Evan Jeremy Kurniawan to look after the North American market as he’s in the US, so anyone in that part of the world please contact him directly for purchase. He’ll be able to offer cheaper shipping as well as refurbished LHD vacuum bellows. If you are outside North America or you require refurbished RHD vacuum bellows please contact me directly.
